Biboi

An innovative, unusual and carefree design to define the identity of these wines. The design of these labels is studied to give a tactile effect when the bottle is removed, thanks to the paper of the label and the embossing of some parts of it. An attached plastic strip animates – when slid up and down – a graphic depiction of a virus that is getting eaten in the process, adding some urgently needed humor in desperate days. To avoid the mix up of masks among family members, and hence cross-contamination, differently colored adjustment clips come in a separate sleeve to customize each mask.

Ancient brewing skills and the distinctive place of production are combined and shown in the mural art style of the Han Dynasty. The front of the box is abstract and recalls Chinese ink and wash painting. Patterns of the ethnic minorities of Guizhou are also included. When the box is opened, the illustration unfolds like a picture scroll.
