Heralbony Packaging

Heralbony

Heralbony is a packaging series created for an art-life brand that applies artworks by artists with disabilities to fashion and interior design. The selected paper is thick and has a craft-like texture. Only foil stamping is applied, in one position and one size, which removes the color proofing stage and keeps costs low. The range includes product boxes, gift boxes and shopping bags.

Hainan Beer Packaging

Hainan Beer

Hainan Beer is a beer packaging design inspired by the landscape and culture of Hainan. The glass bottle carries relief patterns drawn from sea waves, sailing boats, lighthouses, coconut trees and seabirds, and its slim shape supports a one-hand grip. The aluminium can is printed with thermochromic ink, so a postmark pattern appears gradually as the temperature falls during refrigeration. The outer box is made of kraft paper and shaped like a suitcase. The packaging links the beer to local scenery and to a relaxed local lifestyle.

A patented glass combination was developed with a partner manufacturer to keep the oil visible and protect its quality. A second bottle, for a flavored oil, carries a hand printed matte label with blue textured foil. The black box is filled with shredded hinoki wood.

Precious Pastries Packaging for a Healthcare Brand

Precious Pastries

Precious Pastries is a packaging design for Bazhen Cake, a traditional Chinese pastry that contains eight precious ingredients. The outer box and the paper handle combine to form the shape of a crane, a bird that represents health and longevity in Chinese Taoist culture. The construction is environmentally friendly and saves cost. When the box is opened, the top forms a complete image, and the different sides of four boxes join into one larger picture. The design connects the culture of a century-old brand with oriental aesthetics.
