The designer uses the natural structural curves of the human body as the source of design inspiration, simulating the moving arcs of the human body's back and spine to present a linked double-back structure, which can easily handle the human body's forward, backward, side twisting and other movements, and can easily take care of a variety of usage scenarios.

The ceramic bottle holds 500 ml and carries Yuan Dynasty blue and white dragon motifs with underglaze painting and an embedded golden seal. The metal alloy cap is engraved with characters inspired by movable type printing. The outer case is made of rigid board wrapped in silk textured material, decorated with twin dragons in blue relief and gold stamping. A rotating opening structure reveals the bottle for display.

The system works within existing production processes, so packaging serves as a long term service channel rather than a disposable container.
Continue readingKweichow Moutai Osaka Expo Edition is a packaging design for a commemorative liquor created for the 2025 Osaka World Expo. The form is inspired by the exterior of the China Pavilion and recalls traditional Chinese bamboo book slips. The ceramic bottle stands within a metal landscape, and the box is made of ecological bamboo board, metal and artificial leather. A metal timeline on the top of the box marks the long relationship between the brand and the World Expo. A metal handle shaped like a wine jar slides along the timeline to rotate the box open.
