Hongqi E-HS9
Hongqi E-HS9 is a full electric sport utility vehicle. The exterior follows a design language named Shang Zhi Yi. A flag emblem is set into the upright waterfall front face, which gives the car a clear family identity. Chrome trim around the C and D pillars is inspired by a Chinese classical ring fish totem, and charging indicator lights are embedded in the trim. The taillights combine vertical and horizontal lines for easy recognition. A protective structure of high strength steel covers the sides of the battery, and the hidden door handles open when a hand comes close.
Hongqi E-HS9 Full Electric Car by CHINA FAW GROUP CO., LTD. was selected as an innovative illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Hongqi E-HS9 Full Electric Car received the Platinum A' Design Award in Car and Land Based Motor Vehicles Design in 2023. The A' Car and Land Based Motor Vehicles Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design award that honors superior design of sedans, hatchbacks, SUVs, convertibles, coupes, minivans, sports cars, electric vehicles and more.
